About the Bees

It all started when I came across the following quote:

It's not so much how busy you are, but why you are busy. The bee is praised, the mosquito is swatted.
– Mary O'Connor

These words hit me hard. They inspired me to change my life and begin working on my own. Today, I'm busier than I am busier than ever. I am happier than ever. And, I owe it all to the bees.

To thank our wonderful bees for their inspiration and enormous impact on our earth, a percentage of our earnings go to the Honey Bee Research Fund at the University of California, Davis.

My decision to contribute to honeybee research was easy, choosing a recipient organization and program was not. After reviewing several honeybee preservation and research facilities, I came across the amazing facility at the University of California, Davis. Hands down, the literature about this facility the resident staff I interviewed impressed me more than any other.

The UC Davis Bee Biology Program has been in existence for 76 years. Their work is nothing short of extraordinary. Recently, this facility partnered with Haagan Daaz to build a bee friendly garden appropriately named the Haagen Dazs Honey Bee Haven. Sweet!
